April Goals

Honing in on my March goals really made me aware of where I promised myself I was going to be by the end of the year. I feel reenergized and am really focusing on what my little and big goals are each months.
At the beginning of the year, I declared M&I's 2015 goals. These goals are still on the forefront of our minds and we are chugging along every day. To help me achieve those goals, I'd like to break them down every couple of months to keep me accountable and working toward smaller victories.
RECAP MARCH 2015:
- (Intellectual) Finish On The Road by Jack Kerouac or Followership.
- Ok, so I didn't finish either of these books, but I did finish reading Lean In by Sheryl Sandberg! The other two books aren't really grabbing my attention, so I think I am going to read Wild: From Lost to Found on the Pacific Coast Trail.
- (Physical) Complete 15 workouts in Twelve Weeks to Game Time.
- I almost did this! I completed 10 workouts! My tryouts are three weekends in May, so a little more time to get in shape.
- (Social) Eek! I made a commitment to volunteer at least once every three months. We have 19 days to fit this in!
- We didn't fit it in March, but we served at our Church on Easter Sunday and began teaching physically and mentally disabled children to play baseball through Kinetic Kids in our community!
- (Financial) Be debt-free by EOY 2015.
- Y' all, I am D-E-B-T-F-R-E-E! I am thrilled to announce this as I have been working toward it for the past year and a half. It is so liberating to know that the money I earn each month can be spent in the way God intended for me, rather than be the slave to a lender.
APRIL GOALS 2015:
- (Intellectual) Begin Wild: From Lost to Found on the Pacific Coast Trail.
- (Physical) Complete 10 workouts before try-outs in the second week of May.
- (Blog) Rediscover my routine! I miss posting three times a week. This season always gets nuts for M&I, but I want to carve out time for the blog
What are your goals this month? I'd love to encourage you along.
