March Goals

I know, I know - it is already March 13th and half way through March. However, that doesn't stop me toward working toward new accomplishments. While I have stopped writing Fitness Friday updates, I noticed they kept me accountable to squeeze in at least one small workout to make sure I had something to include.

In the beginning of the year, I declared M&I's 2015 goals. These goals are still on the forefront of our minds and we are chugging along every day. To help me achieve those goals, I'd like to break them down every couple of months to keep me accountable and working toward smaller victories.

MARCH 2015:

  1. (Intellectual) Finish On The Road by Jack Kerouac or Followership: One of my 2015 Goals is to read 5 books this year. (When I went to double check, I totally thought I had to read 12 and thought I was crazy for setting that goal. Good thing I wrote them down!)
  2. (Physical) Complete 15 workouts in Twelve Weeks to Game Time: Tryouts for Showdown, the frisbee team I am trying out for, are set! They will be held three weekends in a row in May. I have eight weeks of busting my butt to get in top shape and perform well. 15 workouts isn't 5 days a week, as the program suggests, but it allows me a little grace to complete this. I have already completed 3!
  3. (Social) Eek! I made a commitment to volunteer at least once every three months. We have 19 days to fit this in!
What goals have you set out to complete this month? If you blogged them, post your link below in the comments. I love cheering you on!

  1. Those are some worthy goals. I'm doing the PopSugar reading challenge and I'm usually a big reader, but I'm finding myself having to carve out time to read. Good luck on your tryout.

  2. 5 books in a year is totally my speed--I was an English major and being forced to read so many books per week for class actually made me hate reading! But I've been trying to get back into reading, so good luck on your goal (which inspires me to set one too!) and where are you volunteering? Somewhere new each month? :)
