Week(end) Adventures: November 1st & 2nd
This weekend ended up being date day for M&I. This will wrap up our chill weekends together for pretty much the rest of the year. Ha!
November is jam packed: a cruise trip for me, as my company is taking us on a retreat to the Bahamas this week (#cantwait), Turkey Day complete with a trip from M's parents (!!!), U23 Team USA tryouts (#London2015), and Celebracion Mixed Friz Tourney.
Friday night was Halloween. I am a bit ashamed to admit, but Halloween isn't a huge holiday for either of us. I was feeling pretty sick, to be fair, and decided to stay in. We invited two of our friends, Eleanor and Parks over for some board games. I donned my onesie and M dressed up as a USAMNT soccer player. #wearelame
We slept in on Saturday morning then dressed up and headed to Candlelight Coffee House for bottomless mimosas and brunch. This was another "must do" on our list from friends who have visited or lived in San An.
Candlelight Coffee House: 4 out of 5 stars
How cute!? |
I couldn't decide but when it was time to order, I panicked. I chose the huevos rancheros and boy was that NOT a mistake. Homemade salsa, homemade tortilla, runny eggs, sausage patties, and a latte! Delish!
We even took up a bit of modeling after we ate. I wanted to try an "outfit post" or #OOTD for all of us bloggers out there. Let's just say, we are amateurs.
After Candlelight, we went to La Cantera Shopping Center. This place is (literally) right across the parking lot from Six Flags Fiesta and is a monster. There is every store you can think of. M&I had a fun time walking around and finding no reason to spend some of our pocket money - don't worry, it was budgeted.
The next few weeks are going to be crazy, but I am looking forward to it!
Much love <3
